Delete Your Account
Warning
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including saved recipes and preferences, will be permanently deleted.
We're sorry to see you go. You can delete your Reciport account and all associated data using one of the methods below.
Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
In-App Deletion
Open the Reciport app
Go to Menu tab (bottom right)
Tap Settings
Scroll down and tap Delete Account
Confirm deletion in the dialog
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
Email Request
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please send a request to our support team.
Please include in your email:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your account
- Reason for deletion (optional)
We will process your request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation email once completed.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
The following data will be permanently deleted:
- Your account information (email, display name)
- All saved recipes in your Recipe Book
- Recipe generation history
- Favorite dishes and preferences
- Location settings
- Credit balance (non-refundable)
- All usage data and analytics
Note: If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
Data Retention
After account deletion:
- Your personal data will be deleted immediately from our active systems
- Backup data will be purged within 30 days
- Anonymized analytics data may be retained for service improvement
